It's OK to be misunderstood. Don't worry if no one seems to "get you." They're not supposed to get you...they haven't lived your life. They are living their own life and probably trying to figure out who THEY are and where they belong. Look back at all you've been through and remind yourself that you got through it. You did it! It made you stronger, wiser, more courageous, and maybe filled you with more love and compassion for yourself.
